Variables

Variables are storage containers for data used in surveys, often sent through URL parameters. They facilitate easier response tracking and can be used for many other purposes. Check out this article to learn how to utilize variables in Fynzo Survey.

Click 'Variable'

Click 'Variable' on the left hand side panel.

Variable Name

Add the variable name in small letters only and then click 'Save'.

Multiple Variables

You can add multiple variables by following the same process and the same will be reflected in the URL. You can preview the same in the right hand side panel under 'Variable Preview' as shown.

You can also delete or edit any variable any time by clicking on the respective icons as shown in the below picture.

Click 'Share'

Click 'Share' to share the URL and use it anywhere you want to keep a track of your responses by customized URLs of the survey as per the variable names.

Share Link With Variables

Now click Share >> Share Link With Variables and copy the URL as shown to share. Replace the "****" with the actual value that you want to pass. The same will be received in the response.

Wrapping Up

In this way, you can share multiple URLs with different values of variables. This makes it simple to track and manage the response data.
